MONTANA HERITAGE PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Notice of Public Hearing

  1. On October 30th 2017 at 12:00 pm the Montana Heritage Commission will hold a public hearing at the Rehearsal Hall, located at 316 W. Idaho Street Virginia City, Montana, to consider the historical or non-historical value of the a tract of land located in the W½ of Section 22, Township 6 South, Range 3 West, P.M.M., Madison County, Montana more particularly shown and described as "Tract A" on Certificate of Survey filed in Book 7 of Surveys, page 2190-BA, records of Madison County, Montana. (M.S. 115 Retracement 17.18 acres.)
  2. The Montana Heritage Preservation and Development Commission will be accepting public comment on the historical or non-historical value and the sale of the parcel and boundary realignment. 
  3. Concerned persons may submit their data, views, or arguments either orally or in writing at the hearing. Written data, views, or arguments may also be submitted to: Montana Heritage Preservation and Development Commission, PO Box 338 Virginia City. MT 59755, or email MHC@mt.gov and must be received no later than 5:00 pm October 27th 2017. 
  4. The Commission makes reasonable accommodations for any known disability that may interfere with a person’s ability to participate in public hearing. Idaho Street Virginia City, Montana, to consider the donation from the Montana Historical Foundation to the State of Montana for the McFarland Center with an physical address of 700 MT Hwy 287 and a legal description of S21, T06 S, R03 W, C.O.S. 7/686, TR A IN SEC 21 & 22
  2. The Montana Heritage Preservation and Development Commission will be accepting public comment of the donation of this building from the Montana Historical Foundation to the State of Montana.
